The Tenants' Union of Queensland conducts an Indigenous Tenant Education Program (ITEP) in the north of the state. The project worker, Pat Cora, is based in Cairns at the Tenants' Union's North Queensland Office.

The ITEP project has produced a series of 9 one-page fact sheets for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander tenants. These fact sheets are in plain English with Creole translations on the opposite side.

The video "Its Your Right" was produced by the ITEP project to provide information to Indigenous tenants and their communities about tenancy law and tenant rights. This 7-minute video can be purchased from the Tenants' Union. Visit the resources page to order your copy.

The ITEP project also produces a regular newsletter to keep communities up to date with news and community issues. To request a copy of the latest edition email Pat Cora in the North Queensland office at ITEP@tuq.org.au.
