The Tenants' Union regularly delivers training in "Queensland Residential Tenancy Law for Tenant Advocates". This course offers training and resources in the Residential Tenancies Act 1994 and related legislation.
Training participants can achieve a nationally recognised qualification under the Community Services Training Package.
The course is designed to assist:
- Tenants
- Tenancy Advice and Advocacy workers
- Workers and volunteers from community based organisations that assist tenants.
Participants can attend the 3 day face-to-face training or can undertake the training via distance learning or through recognition of prior learning (RPL). The Tenants' Union can also provide training in relation to the Queensland Residential Services Legislation.
